Expert design & planning service

If planning your kitchen seems a daunting task, then you’ve definitely come to the right place! Our kitchen designers will help you to make the most of your available space and to create a kitchen that is as individual as you are.

We take the time to discover your requirements for budget, appliances and space, and combine these with ideas, imagination, taste and style, to create a truly inspirational kitchen to be proud of.

When planning your kitchen, you need to think about your ‘working triangle’

Kitchens come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common we find are Galley, L-shaped, U-shaped and peninsula kitchens. If you plan for your fridge, sink and hob to be in your working triangle, then not only will you have everything to hand when you are preparing food in the kitchen, but you will make your working space much more practical.

Other elements you need to consider when planning your space are:

  • Existing built in structures such as boilers, pipes or chimney breasts
  • Built-in media centres for a TV or sound system etc.
  • Internal doorways and archways.
  • Windows and external doors.
  • Any existing furniture you wish to keep in your kitchen.
  • Any useful spaces that suit your lifestyle, even a place for your dog to eat its food without tripping you up!

Feel free to discuss any of these elements or any other concerns you may have, with your kitchen designer, to help you decide on the best solution. Our ultimate aim is to ensure you end up with a kitchen expressing your style, and that whilst impressing your friends, will maximise functionality, be practical and result in your dream kitchen, which is engineered well enough to last a lifetime.

It’s all part of the service...

Once you’ve had your kitchen designed, your will be given a presentation folder which not only contains everything you need to know about your new kitchen design, but also a disc containing a virtual tour of your kitchen – great for impressing those neighbours and friends!
